Packed with stunning beaches, a rich history and mesmerising culture, Morocco is a diverse and vibrant holiday destination. Experience Moroccan customs in the likes of Marrakech, shop for souvenirs and wares at the many traditional souks or laze away the days on the white sands of Agadir. Ancient beliefs, bustling cities and North African sunshine blend perfectly to create an exciting and exceptional country.

Wander around markets and shops offering leather, pottery and souvenirs, head for a bar or restaurant, and watch the delightful evening entertainment of traditional dancing and local music. This exciting holiday just gets better the more you experience the local way of life, and promises a thoroughly enjoyable time to be had by all. A maze of narrow streets, old town and the largest open air square of the region can be found in the exuberant Marrakech, where you will feel the wave of tradition and local life take over.

Sights such as the Koutoubia Mosque and the spicy colours of its interior design all add to the panache that Marrakech provides. Particular attractions such as the huge open square of Djemma El Fna, the Koutoubia Mosque, seen for miles around, and the beautiful Menera Gardens, are popular tours with all holiday makers.

Drenched in wonderful sunshine, Morocco is most popular between the months of May and October. Scorching temperatures can easily peak 30 degrees regularly during the summer months but a gentle breeze will always provide the welcome light relief. A cool beer or local wine will also add to the cool down phase, and of course a walk through the higher mountain ranges will deviate from the sultry heat. Even November to March does not provide an overly large amount of rain, making this an ideal destination whatever your preference.

Turkey undoubtedly gave us the complete holiday experience and whether your holiday is a well planned family event or a last minute search for the sun, Turkey has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in recent years as the climate, accommodation, restaurants and nightlife, satisfies individual and family requirements alike. The beautiful beaches and crystal blue sea offer the opportunity to enjoy the numerous water sport activities of swimming, sailing, snorklling , jet skiing and diving that are available to the energetic and adventurous or if you prefer simply relax in the warm sunshine. The whitewashed villages, the variety of architecture and history of the region are magnificent and nightlife abounds in the clubs and bars for those looking to party into the early hours.

The climate in the countries seven regions differ slightly dependent upon their proximity to mountain ranges but the coastal resorts of the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea enjoy practically rain free periods between May and October, with sea temperatures frequently around the mid 20`s Centigrade.

The Aegean coastline offers more than wonderful coastline and beaches but also popular towns and villages which include Izmir, Turkeys third largest city and the regions capital, the village of Assos with the Temple of Athena overlooking the Aegean, the lively resort of Bodrum, Kusadasi with its harbour and Datca bordering the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas. The area also boasts many examples of magnificent architectural heritage including Ephasus one of the worlds` best examples of Roman influence and can be found just 3 km from Selcuk.

Mediterranean Turkey covers the southern coast partially with a backdrop of mountain ranges and inland areas to the wonderful beaches and shimmering sea, the larger towns of Adana and Antalya, an expanding destination that boasts some of the region`s liveliest nightlife, the coastal towns and villages of Kas, Mersin, Marmaris and Felthlye also prove very popular.

The Sea of Marmara to the north is considered by many to be the border between Asia and Europe, the region is a little cooler, and does experience some rainfall but is still a warm climate. Istanbul is now considered the capital of the region in which The Ottoman Empire originated over 700 years ago when Bursa was considered as its capital. The region also provides access to Gallipoli with its WW1 Memorial and the ruins of Troy.

The Black Sea region to the north offers a contrasting landscape of rocky coastline, forested mountain areas and arable farmland, the coastline while dramatic in parts is warm in the summer months but can also be more humid than the Aegean or Mediterranean coastlines.

As east meets west and as the different dynasties developed the influence of the Greeks, Roman and Byzantine periods, together with the rise of the Ottoman Empire can be identified not only in the architecture, but also in the variety of food available and the delicate use of spices in certain dishes. Combine this with the beautiful beaches, the flowers and fauna and Turkey offers couples and families alike the opportunity of a memorable holiday.
