Torre del Mar

Welcome to Quickrooms, the quick and easy way to book cheap hotels.

Yes, Torre del Mar is on the eastern Costa del Sol but maybe it isn’t what you would expect, if you are used to Marbella and Fuengirola! It is a very popular holiday destination with the Spanish, and now many other visitors are discovering this coastal town which is a perfect resort for a laid back, relaxing holiday break in the sun.  Less than fifty kilometres from Malaga airport and with a fantastic beach, Torre del Mar is an unspoilt gem in the sun.   There are a few British pubs but the real feeling is of being on holiday in Spain.

Marbella and Puerto Banus are the best known resorts, but we have great hotel offers all over the Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol is probably the best known of the sunny Spanish Costas and with very good reason. From superb, clean and safe beaches to the historical towns in the mountains to the very lively nightlife, this area of southern Spain has it all. There are over 300 days of sun on the coast, with lovely warm temperatures, making it an ideal destination for the holiday maker. Also a great destination out of season, it offers super long term breaks in the sun to escape the winter weather!   Sports minded visitors will find excellent water sports, including swimming, canoeing, sailing and scuba-diving and the area has some of the world’s best golf facilities as well. Many courses are on mountains and hill tops with magnificent views of the area and the sea.

The western Costa de Sol stretches from Malaga to Gibraltar, and includes all the larger resorts such as Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Benalmadena as well as Malaga and Marbella.  Malaga city offers many museums, the major one being the Picasso Museum as well as great restaurants and tapas bars.  Looking for some fun in the clubs and bars? Head for Marbella and Puerto Banus where there is plenty of choice, from stylish upmarket clubs to fun discos.  Or drop into a bar and watch the beautiful people drift by!

If you want a family holiday based around the beach and the warm sea, there are many resorts and beaches on the coast, including little coves tucked away to the long sandy stretches where the famous come to top up their tans! There is a huge choice of accommodation from five star luxury to local family owned hotels. Great opportunities to stay on a golf course if you want, or go self catering with the family and do your own thing. Or look for a good hotel with an all inclusive offering, great value. You will find the perfect place for every budget and style of holiday.

There are many stunning national parks around Malaga, many an easy drive away. They offer hiking, walking, golf, four-wheel-driving, horse riding and many other outdoors activity…it’s not all sea and sand!

Or get away from the coast and visit Ronda, with it’s deep ravine, famous bull ring and superb restaurants and cafes tucked away in the narrow streets. It is also a great place to stay, with some excellent hotels and is only half an hour or so from the coast.

The eastern part of the Costa del Sol is less developed and it‘s main town is Nerja, a great place for a quieter stay with good hotels, lovely beaches and lots of restaurants as well as a friendly local feel to the area.

You will find there is every conceivable cuisine on offer, in beach bars, little pavement cafes and world class restaurants - from Spanish and Andalusian to Italian, Indian, Chinese, British and German plus lots more, one thing is certain, you will not go hungry!

The Costa del Sol offers a myriad of different holidays, have a look around, find the perfect location and accommodation, then you will have a holiday to really remember!
